Tab and Slot for Autodesk Fusion: Privacy Policy

Tab and Slot is an add-in for Autodesk Fusion made by FDF Race Shop. This page explains what the add-in does with your data. The short version: it does not collect any.

Data the add-in collects

None. Tab and Slot runs entirely inside Fusion on your computer. It reads the geometry of the parts you select in order to build the tab and slot features, and it writes those features into your design. It does not read, store, or send your design files, your name, your email address, your Autodesk account details, or anything else about you or your computer.

Network use

The free version makes no network connections at all.

If a paid version is offered on the Autodesk App Store, the add-in will confirm your purchase by asking Autodesk's entitlement service whether the Autodesk account signed in to Fusion has bought the app. That request contains only your Autodesk user ID and the app's ID, both of which Autodesk already holds. The answer (yes or no) is kept in a small file inside the add-in's own folder so the add-in keeps working for up to 30 days without an internet connection. Nothing else is sent, and FDF Race Shop never receives this information.

Third parties

The add-in is distributed through the Autodesk App Store. Autodesk's own privacy policy covers your use of the store and of Fusion. FDF Race Shop does not share any data with third parties because it does not collect any.

Data retention and deletion

There is nothing to retain or delete on our side. If you want to remove the local entitlement file described above, uninstall the add-in or delete the .lic folder inside the add-in's folder.

Consent

Because no personal data is collected, there is no consent to give or withdraw. If that ever changes, this page and the add-in's version notes will say so before the change takes effect.
