370z high clearance front lower control arms are a bolt on solution designed to clear high steering angle with the use of our mini kit adaptor (or other brands, which is not included with this purchase)
The control arm can be extended up to 40mm wider than factory, giving you more track width, more camber, and more wheel clearance.
The arms are made from high-strength alloy steel with a 200ksi tensile strength.
Hardened Chromoly taper stud and uni-ball bearing replace the ball joint and motion ratio adjustment options for the shock mount. The factory swaybar can also be installed and the caster adjustment is all done on car without needing to unbolt anything.
*NOTE, G37 sedan uses a different steering rack than the 370/G37 coupe, the thread pitch and size is m16x1.0 instead of m18x1.0* make sure you note this in your order if buying for a sedan.

The FDF Grip Kit for the Z33/Z34 chassis has been a focal point of our design for years. Running a 350z ourselves, we sought to create a suspension solution that utilizes the entire potential of the tire. We were able to achieve this by addressing the following Variables:
Linear Suspension Sweep: Maximizes suspension travel with minimal alignment changes.
Adjustable Bump Steer/Toe Gain: Uses multiple points on the toe arm knuckle connection for adjustments.
Improved Anti-Squat Geometry: More Linear during accleration.
Shim Adjusted Alignment: Allows for camber adjustment on the upper and lower control arms on the knuckle side where it is easy to access with tools and your hands.
On-Car Adjustment: All control arms can be adjusted on the car.
Fast Change Upper Control Arms: In the event of an accident, the uppers can be changed within a couple of minutes and aligned perfectly. No other product can compare to this particular design feature.
Lightweight Design: Uses only high-strength steel and aluminum alloys.

Re-drilled knuckles have too much positive Ackerman, there is no option to correct this as the hole can only be drilled where there is enough material, and other adaptors available have too much negative Ackerman because they only fit in one location on the C5/C6 knuckle. Currently nothing available for C7 other than drilled
This design has 2 tierod location options, the first is a moderate increase in angle for those with OEM arms (measured at 50 degrees of lock) and the second position is for a full 70 degrees of lock, that can be used with aftermarket arms of any brand
The brackets are made from high-strength, Alloy steel and 7075 aluminum. making them a lightweight and robust design.

C5/C6 Mild Angle Kit is the perfect in between solution for your Corvette that offers adjustable ackerman and maintains the OEM knuckles. You simply just need to cut the OEM knuckles tierod mount off to install. The reasons for buying this option are listed in point form below:
1-If you have Modified Knuckles: the mounting point is already gone, this rules out the ability to run our mini mantis kit, which makes this option perfect for you.
2-Adjustable Ackerman: The kit is capable of running positive, zero, and negative ackerman and is easily adjusted.
3-Shorter Steering Ratio: Then the Mini Mantis Kit and modified knuckles. What this means is this kit is capable of getting more steering angle. Your limiting factors will now be your wheel selection and control arms.

Our FLCA for C5/C6/C7 are a low profile, high clearance design that up to for 70 degrees of wheel lock. They bolt to factory knuckles or FDF mega mantis knuckles. The arms feature on car adjustment for both camber and caster, meaning you do not need to disconnect the lower control arm to align the car.
The arms feature an OEM style mounting point for any Coilover to fasten to, with 3-position, motion ratio adjustment, each adjustment adding 8% increase or decrease in stiffness to fine-tune your suspension. This product is not intended for factory leaf springs/shocks.
The arms are constructed from high-strength alloy steel, and use spherical bearings with locking collars to keep everything tight while in use. Adjusting the arms to your desired alignment specs is easy with the on-car adjustablility

Features and Components:
Steering Angle: Up to 72 degrees of lead and trail wheel angle, made possible only by our rack relocation design.
Self-Steering Dynamics: Tailored for lightning-fast transitions and effortless control, this kit endows your Corvette with the quickest self-steer capabilities Josiah has ever experienced, especially when combined with the rear grip kit also being run on Josiahs Corvette.
Optimized Grip: The speed of a drift is determined by how well the front can guide the rear. To do this, you need grip. This is a combination of perfecting the camber gain, the KPI, caster and contact patch of the tire while at high angle. It has been perfected to allow for a speed advantage without understeering and showed this well during trials and competition.
Adjustable Ackerman: The ackerman is tunable thanks to the precision Billet knuckle and shim design. Josiah’s setup with zero ackerman and a slight static toe exemplifies perfect control and steering response.
Minimized Bump Steer: The Pro Kit has been optimized at angle, to have minimal bump steer and maintain control no matter the terrain, the kit comes with specially machined spacers that go on the steering rack, to extend the racks ram. This part is included with the kit
Extended Travel Range: The kit supports 2 inches more travel than stock suspensions design, demanding a minimum spring rate of 18k with sway bars or 22k without, due to the modified motion ratio.
Steering Rack Conversion:The Steering rack has been changed to now use an E46 steering rack. On Josiah's car he uses the silver/grey tag rack. The racks location uses a unique bracket that fixates it in to the factory leaf spring Pocket of the subframe, mounting it here has relocated the steering rack 4.75” back and 5.5” down. A dramatic move but a very necessary one as the factory C6 racks are infront of the engines crank pulley. The factory rack is compromised at high angle and will often result in wrecking the racks seals within a year of competitive driving. This kit resolves this problem by aligning the forces and keeping them linear with the steering rack. The steering rack relocation comes with a rack adaptor to connect it to the factory steering column. The only modification required is the the left side header will need to be custom made or modified to clear the new steer wheel shaft location. Keep this in mind when considering this angle kit. The subframe will also need a couple of spots ground for the E46 power steering lines and rack fitment (this is minor modifications)
Premium Articulation Joints: We use Chromoly heim joints and spherical bearings with self-lubricating nylon races for durability and ease of maintenance.
Weight-Optimized Design: Crafted from Aerospace grade aluminum, our compact drop knuckle design reduces weight without compromising strength.
Please Note: Installation requires minor modifications to the subframe and potentially to the left side header to accommodate the new steering wheel shaft location.
- A normal coilover will contact the upper control arm where the spring passes through the arm. This kit has been tested with both BC racing and Feal coilovers, these 2 coilovers work when installed inverted (with the spring at the bottom of the coilover instead of the top). The upper control arm is designed this way to maximize steering angle and it is necessary.
- The OEM steering shaft fire wall boot must be removed, and the fire wall needs a slight notch in it. The reason is the bmw steering rack is narrower, and the steering shaft angle increases towards the center of the car.
- The bmw steering rack also requires the factory steering rack gwebo. We have machined an adapter to connect to the e46 gwebo. The gwebo comea with a rubber dampener installed, this can be run as is, or the rubber damper can be drilled out, and the 2 halves of the qwebo bolted together.

Dual Caliper Bracket Options: The kit offers three choices for rear brakes. The first is the OEM foot brake. The second combines an OEM foot brake with a secondary 4-piston Wilwood handbrake. The third option is a dual Wilwood caliper setup. All options are compatible with the Billet knuckle and can be added or changed later.
Travel Range: The kit's travel range has been expanded, allowing up to 2 inches more than OEM and aftermarket suspensions. A further travel option is available through special order, requiring custom coilovers similar to those on Josiah's C6. Nevertheless, this is a significant improvement in the travel range department.

The Corvette is a remarkable drift chassis, however, it may have certain limitations in comparison to other platforms due to the positioning of its front upper control arms within the front wheel. The FDF Arms are specifically designed to address this issue by utilizing high-strength alloy steel and a modified mounting point, resulting in the maximum clearance on both OEM and aftermarket drift knuckles. In contrast to the OEM upper control arm, the FDF arm offers an additional 10 degrees of clearance, significantly enhancing the vehicle's angle potential. Moreover, the replacement of factory rubber bushings with chromoly rod ends further enhances the handling characteristics of the vehicle.
The upper control arms are length adjustable using the rod end adjustment range. The range is limited due to the mounting angle, so to further increase the control arms lengths, you can add upper control arm shims.
*NOTE, if you are using these for a none drift application, they will not give you more negative camber than the OEM control arms. they are the same length as OEM at there shortest position.

Custom 3 piece Rod Ends feature a Teflon liner to provide quiet operation, low friction, smooth articulation, and eliminates bushing deflection under load. The PTFE liner is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race.
