I installed this to get rid of my terrible factory E46 steering column. The new column worked great and offers way more room for header clearance. I had to purchase a 17mmx52 u joint for the BMW rack and the rest of the kit works flawless.
The materials of the parts in this steering column kit are top quality. Very rigid components and simple straight forward design for a custom column. I am using this kit on my C7 Corvette combined with the Mantis bmw rack relocation and mantis pro angle kit.

Installed really easy, adjusted to the length I needed and had it mounted in about 35mins. Machining looks great and arrived in 2 days.
This is a complicated piece to install and a welder in mandatory none of this is said in the description this is not a part for a weekend warrior just keep your stock steering column and make ur life easy … mount for cage showed up black when was shown silver in ad quality is nice for mount but everything else is same stuff u get from speedway motors and to top it off not a dam sticker in the box
