Adam LZ Rips the 2JZ Wagon

We just got back from Race Warz—and brought something special with us: our 2JZ-powered E46 wagon. This time, we handed the keys over to Adam LZ, and let’s just say… it’s officially LZ-approved.

First Impressions: “Comfy as Hell”

Adam’s first reaction to the wagon? “Comfy as hell.” And while that might sound casual, this wagon is anything but. It’s running a 2JZ up front, a full FDF grip kit in the rear and our Mega Mantis kit up front. The cooling system’s dialed with a rear-mounted radiator and dual Volvo fans. Inside, it’s got a lightweight, functional setup that still holds four passengers—and yeah, Adam definitely noticed the weight balance when drifting with a full load of friends.

Drift Feel: Intuitive, Predictable, and Just Plain Fun

After a full drift session with Josiah, Adam had high praise: “Super easy to drive. Very intuitive.” He even forgot it was a wagon mid-drift. For a first-time E46 wagon experience, that’s a win.

New Product Drop: Custom Helmet & Suit Mount

We also gave Adam a new product we’ve been working on: our helmet and suit mount. It's wall-mountable, super clean, and built for racers who want to display their gear properly—no more throwing it on the floor or settling for ugly plastic hooks. Of course, Adam immediately asked for a custom version for his helmet wall. These are now available on the site!

Thanks again to everyone who came out to Race Wars, and big thanks to Adam for ripping the wagon all day. This build has come a long way—and based on how well it held up through a full day of passenger-loaded tandems, we’re stoked for what’s next.
