FDF Raceshop Educational Displays exist to make suspension theory click. Each one is a working model you can pick up and move with your hands, so instead of reading about a concept or watching a simulation, you watch it happen in front of you. Sits well on a desk, a shop bench, a trailer shelf, or a classroom table.
Caster is the angle everyone runs more of without being able to say exactly what it buys them. This display gives you the real answer, which is mechanical trail. Two arrows drop to the ground plane, one where the tire actually contacts and one where the steering axis passes through, and the gap between them is the lever that makes the steering want to come back to center. Tilt the caster angle, offset the wheel from the axis line, and watch that gap open up and close right in front of you.
All of it adjusts, including displaced caster, which is the part almost nobody accounts for. What you walk away with is a clear picture of where self aligning torque actually comes from, and why two cars showing the same caster number on the alignment printout can feel nothing alike once the offset is different. It's a teaching aid rather than a setup tool, so it won't tell you how much to run on your own car. What it does is take the most argued about angle in drifting and make the mechanism behind it obvious.
