The Software: I will be utilizing VX Elements for 3D scanning and Fusion 360 for design. All the process's between software are the same, so don't worry if you use something else.

The "Unwritten" Rules: I’ll show you the tricks, shortcuts, and specific mental models I use to solve complex mechanical problems fast.

I've been tinkering with scanning for a while and always found it clunky and difficult to get accurate results. This seminar had me taking note after note and showed me easy shortcuts and thigs I didn't even think I needed to know but will help immensly. Josiah is super clear with his delivery and also doesn't mind flicking through a heap of his other designs / kits to help with what he's explaining.

Definitely would recomend if you work with any kinds of 3d scans, this seminar gave me a new(better) way on how to do certain things, mainly pixel perfect alignment
The session was extremely detailed and well structured. In just one and a half hours, Josiah managed to cover multiple key concepts on how to design a part from scratch starting from a 3D scan. There is a lot of dense material to review afterward, and the included recording is genuinely useful for that. The amount of practical insight delivered in such a short time is impressive, and Josiah’s availability and clarity make a real difference.
