Misalignment Spacer Builder
Custom misalignment spacers, machined in house. Type your bearing size, spacer ID and width, pick the material, and the drawing builds itself. Review the drawing, add your spacers to the cart, and we machine them to that drawing.

support@fdfraceshop.comHow it fits
The nose slips into the ball of the joint. The ring at the ball face takes the clamp load, and the flange sits against your mounting tab. Two spacers plus the ball add up to the overall width, so measure the gap between your tabs and enter that as the overall width.
On a high misalignment spacer the ring continues the sphere of the ball and the body necks down behind it before flaring out to the flange, so the rod end housing can swing past it. A standard spacer tapers straight from the flange to the ball's shoulder face instead.

These rules turn the customer's numbers into geometry. Set them to match your high_miss_general_spacer and non_high_miss_general Fusion models. Values are in inches. Saved in this browser.
Ball widths (inches)
The customer never sees these. Each bearing size maps to a ball width and diameter here; a non-standard size is estimated from the bore and flagged. Overall width = side A + ball + side B. ✓ FDF = from the Fusion template, ✓ cat = Aurora/Timken catalog (XM rod ends, COM and COM-M bearings), est = estimated, check before relying on it.
Pricing and store
The quote is built from costs in CAD (round bar at the ASA Alloys price, lathe time, hands-on time, a setup per order), times the markup, converted to USD. 303 is costed; 17-4 and 6061 are a multiple of the 303 price. Then the size surcharges and the per-piece floor.
Shop files
Staff only. The customer sees and saves the drawing; the CAD files come from here (or from the Fusion add-in) once the order is in. Put the order number in the fields above first so the part number and file names carry it.
